We’re honored to share that we’ve been selected to receive funding through the Pathways to Health program, administered by the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and supported by Evernorth Health Services.

This grant will help support our ongoing efforts to improve access to care and health outcomes in the communities we serve. We're grateful for this recognition and for the opportunity to be part of a national initiative focused on creating healthier, more equitable futures.

First Free Clinic!

Piedmont Smiles Mobile Dentistry hosted our very first free clinic, providing nearly $15,000 worth of free dental care to members of our community. It was an amazing day filled with restored smiles, hope, and connection.

We couldn’t have done it alone! A heartfelt thank you to Grace Clinic-Yadkin Valley for offering health screenings and helping patients get the referrals they needed. Your partnership ensures that care doesn’t stop with us but continues to address the whole person.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Mount Airy Family Dentistry and Dr. Laura Mercer for hosting us and sharing their space so generously. Your support made it possible for us to provide the highest level of care to those in need.

From cleanings and fillings to extractions and health screenings, this event showcased the power of community collaboration. Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, and partners who helped make this day possible. Together, we’re creating healthier smiles and brighter futures.

Piedmont Smiles Mobile Dentistry Partners with Delta Dental Foundation

As of October 30, 2024, Piedmont Smiles Mobile Dentistry has been awarded a grant from the Delta Dental Foundation! This partnership represents a major milestone in our mission to deliver vital dental care to underserved communities in Surry, Stokes, and Yadkin counties. With Delta Dental’s support, Piedmont Smiles will be able to purchase supplies for our clinic, providing comprehensive care to uninsured and low-income individuals, including children, older adults, and people with disabilities.

Thanks to this funding, we’ll be better equipped to deliver preventative and emergency dental care in schools, nursing facilities, and community centers. Together with Delta Dental Foundation, we’re moving one step closer to reducing barriers to essential oral healthcare for thousands in our area. Piedmont Smiles Mobile Dentistry Receives 501(c)(3) Status!

We are excited to announce that as of August 14th, 2024, Piedmont Smiles Mobile Dentistry is officially recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! This important milestone allows us to continue our mission of providing high-quality dental care to underserved, uninsured, and vulnerable populations in Surry, Stokes, and Yadkin counties.

With our new nonprofit status, we can now accept tax-deductible donations, which will directly support our efforts to bring accessible dental services to those in need. Every contribution will help us cover operational costs, purchase essential dental supplies, and maintain our fully equipped mobile dental unit.
